In Memoriam

Honoring the Sacred Journey of Our Beloved Ahiah Members

At Ahiah Center for Spiritual Living Pasadena, we honor and celebrate the lives of those who have walked this spiritual path with us and have now transitioned into the next expression of Life. Our In Memoriam page is a sacred space dedicated to remembering the beloved souls of our community who have passed on.

Here, we pause to reflect on their contributions, their presence, and the love they shared. We know that life is eternal, and though they may no longer be with us in physical form, their light continues to shine in our hearts, our memories, and the spiritual legacy they leave behind.

As a community rooted in Love, we affirm the eternal nature of the soul and the ongoing journey of Spirit. We hold each of these dear ones in deep gratitude, knowing they are forever one with the Divine.

May this page be a place of remembrance, reverence, and comfort.

Joyce Brownfield  DOB March 13,  Date of Sunset  March 2, 2025

The Ahiah community has been saddened to learn of the life transition of long time member Joyce Brownfield on March 2nd of this year. She has been a member of Ahiah since 2011 and is known for her kind heart, gentle spirit, and dedication to our center. She was a valued member of the Pastoral Care team and a staunch of supporter our youth. She exhibited grace and optimism in the face of physical challenges. Joyce had a ready sense of humor, appreciated  wordplay, and remained strongly concerned about the fate of our country. She is pictured below with her much loved animal companion Betty White. Joyce will be missed and fondly remembered as a loving servant leader of our Beloved Ahiah community.
