Courageous Love - A Time of Change

Beloved Ahiah Community,

As we enter 2026, I write with a heart filled with gratitude and deep respect for every Sacred Servant who has given so generously of their time, talent, and love. The countless hours of selfless service offered by this community are the true foundation upon which Ahiah stands. You have shown up again and again—often quietly, often behind the scenes—and it is your devotion that continues to make this ministry possible. Thank you for your faithfulness, your generosity of spirit, and your willingness to let love move through you in service to something greater than any one of us.

In our 83 years of existence, Ahiah CSL has experienced many phase shifts—transitions in leadership, fiscal policy, and operational practice. Each season has asked us to grow in maturity, to refine our systems, and to align our structures with the vision Spirit is revealing. This moment is no different. What is different is the depth of clarity and Courageous Love with which we are meeting it.

Five years ago, we established a thoughtful and disciplined five-year plan. That plan projected how our investments could sustain us during a transitional period while, year by year, we intentionally strengthened our revenue streams—reducing reliance on investment augmentation and increasing operational sustainability in the coming years.

In 2026, we will continue to intentionally augment our investments in internal systems—most notably through the completion of our kitchen certification project and the strategic addition of staffing—while stabilizing our internal financial position and strengthening our financial controls. This focused and faithful work reflects our collective commitment to responsible stewardship and operational excellence as we consciously affirm this year as our Year of Sacred Overflow: a time to pause, realign, and establish strong, sustainable foundations for the next era of ministry and service.

As a result of this intentional growth, we have expanded and refined several key revenue centers and ministries, including our kitchen and fellowship hall, health fairs, theatrical partnerships, enhanced community outreach, and more sophisticated fiscal practices and grant-writing capacity. These initiatives are bearing fruit—and with that growth comes the need for additional infrastructure and support.

To responsibly establish and sustain this next phase, Ahiah will be increasing staffing support in the areas of marketing and social media outreach, as well as office and operational administration. In the coming weeks, you will hear updates regarding pre-approval requirements for reimbursements, kitchen access protocols, and renewed volunteer recruitment efforts. These adjustments are not about restriction, but about care—ensuring clarity, accountability, and ease as we steward this ministry together.

To support our current transitional phase, we are currently seeking two key roles:

·       A Volunteer Coordinator

·       A Kitchen Manager

If you know someone who would be a wonderful fit, please share these opportunities within your circles. We are calling in capable, heart-centered leaders who are aligned with our mission and ready to serve during this pivotal time.

Beloved community, this is a season of growth and stability—but more than that, it is a season of courageous love. It is courageous love that invites us to evolve, to tend carefully to our foundations, and to trust that what we are building now will bless generations yet to come. That same courageous love—alive in each of you—is what continues to propel Ahiah forward through change, with grace, wisdom, and unwavering faith.

Thank you for walking this path together—honoring our past, tending the present, and boldly shaping the future we are here to serve.

Our 2026 Prosperity Press magazine will be released this week and our kitchen construction project will begin shortly. Congratulations in advance on these amazing demonstrations of our intentional consciousness coming into manifestation!

With abiding gratitude and confidence in what is unfolding,

Rev. Michael (Kisumma)
