Forgiveness Prayer

We cannot expect the ego to go along with it easily, yet as we let go of the crushing victimhood that anger and lack of forgiveness creates, we let go and let God which heals us and sets us free.

Jesus said,

"Father, forgive them, for they know not what they do."

This quote seems to echo up through the centuries. We look to him, as well as other great mystical teachers, for guidance. In this passage, Yesua shows us that we can call upon a higher power to do the forgiveness for us. This is the way of freedom. No need to waste any mental or emotional energy, just simply allow the higher power of our Love and Wholeness (Spirit) to do it through and for us.
